It has been a while.. and i have not gotten that much futher.. BUT i made a custom animation:

im currently doing my animatic and iv changed my plans.. originally i would have made alot of extra stuff and slammed it into my animation.. but instead i will take this course.. doing and learning all the stuff buzz and zak teach us.. and then when im done.. im gonna make my own stuff ^_^. the cool about this course is that i can always drag out the videos later.. if i forgot somthing...

Alien!

So! i rigged the alien and thought it was a little to.. unalien.. so i added some
extrra to its head and i think it turned out nicely

But then agian.. more is newer enought :) so i added to extra heads and i think it is perfect. this is going to be a **** to animiate :) but i think it will be worth it

In other news...Buzznet radios is BACK!!! ^_^ yestedays show was featuring joel.. and its nice to see him there.. slapping zak from time to time (and spitting coffee)
I think i god my dad conviced to help me buy the openGL vtms so that is just great..

I got my photo for my visa... and it is a ODD format.. 2 x 2 inces??? what?.... i guees that is just how americans are...

but that was me for now... so

A duck in a sandbox

So... a 3 am post just to post my duck progress.. (im pretty stuck on ducks :S.. dunno why.. really.. but they are sort of cool :P)

First i tried to create one using curves:

Then I found some NURBS primetives and it improved ALOT

:D and really thats it for now.. nothing super advance. but then agian.. im not a super advance maya user... yet ;)

So!.. not much to say.. well i'v submitted assignment 11.. and it is working no problem.. so i should pass.. but got some pictures of my notes for my nodes(click for a bigger pic.)

I found the title myself... :D

This morning.. I found my table covered in notepaper... none of them made any sense and i do not remember myself writing all of this stuff. but i collected all of my papers and started watching some vtms/lessons/hmm i need a good name for those collections of videos :). modelled my shoved, buket, sandbox and fence for projekt 2.. and iv found that i want to add a duck to my screen (raprap? :)) but i will have to watch the shading lessons first.. so that i have some knowledge on how shaders will act on NURBS surfaces.

now... everything would be good.. if it wasent for the fact that the c++ vtm will come in some months.... i toke the time to skate round the forums.. and i found buzz teasing the entire comunity with the new c++ vtm.. .WHEN WILL THEY COME.. HOW MUCH WILL THEY COST??... lost of querstions come to mind.. none of them will be ansvered atm :) NDA stuff(grr joel) so why is this bad? i do not have the time for my exchange program(lots of preperrations), the MFC and c++... or atleast i dont think so. but i am thinkin about bringing a laptop to USA and maybe get some c++ stuff done "overthere"...

Iv found zak is making a blog.. (dont have link right here) and i think it is pretty exciting to read the entire story from another perspective...

Well that was me for now.. gonna post some note paper and some model pictures later.. but atm.. im busy with watching material

P.s. Yes.... some of this stuff is very random.. BUT.. this is my blog.. and if you dont like it?? then why are you reading it? ;)

So.. im still up.. but the machine won =/.

I simple cant get my brain to function anymore today.. so it seems i could not complete the assignment.. even with several hours of effort.. im disappointed because of this.. but ill try to do what some of the guys at 3dbuzz have told me... so ill leave the nodes for a couple of days.. and watch some videos :D.

/me goes to bed.. cya later ;)

p.s. Programming Is SO MUCH EASIER THAN NODE NETWORKS.. iv realised.. that i would rather have longer rendertime with an expresion than sit for hours to get a node network working!!!

I LOVE THIS CLASS!!!

my first impression. I was really nervous that i would no be able to follow along in the moddeling and stuff.. but i'v found out.. i can... i really like the way the lecture is presented...BUT!! the important part of the bloggy thingy.. what have i made today? so far not much.. im really struggeling with this node part... i'v found just how important commenting is in programming.. and do i miss it in maya.. iv sad for hours trying to figure out what my old network did.. untill i rewrote the entire thing...

Im not going to bed untill assignment 11 is done... even though i have to go to work tomorrow.. i will push myself.. i want to be the best :)

Buzz was very sad today.. and im sad i could't help him.. he has alot of pain in his leg...+ a whole range of stuff that is sort of private to him.. zak and him made a post in the classroom.. and he sounded VERY sad.. usually i can hear his passion for 3dbuzz when he is speaking.. he is glowing trough my microfone.. but there was no spark today.. and i really hope everything become good agian.. it is unfair that so many bad things can happend to a man such as buzz...

Hi. my name is Jacob H. Hanse(aka Raprap) and im a 16 year old boy who is going to the US of A as an exchange student(next year). I live in Denmark and have just finished school.. so im ready for the maya fundermenteals class

This is a mfc blog.. and im a little late.. but why did i take the mfc? i know the quality of 3dbuzz products and i figured that if i wanted to be a game programmer... i had to know a little bit of everything...

That was my intro post.. and now.. im ready to tell what iv done :P
